Operation Avro

Today we are running Operation AVRO, this is our force-wide monthly blitz on local crime which runs in a different district each month. It involves additional police resources and specialist teams to address local crime concerns. 

So far officers from the City of Manchester district have conducted several warrants this morning which has already seen the arrest of two males, one for possession with intent to supply class C drugs and another male for money laundering.

A Zombie knife a small quantity of drugs, and a drone has also been seized. It is believed the drone was being used to transport drugs.
